Neurodermitis and psoriasis are like brother and sister. They belong to the family of eliminations. So they are not really diseases in the true sense, but intelligent measures taken by the body. With both neurodermitis and psoriasis, the body is trying to rid itself of substances which it can not tolerate or which may be harmful to it.
The first thing is to look for the cause. With children the most frequent causes to be considered are vaccinations and milk consumption. Antibiotics and other medications could also be the cause. The same applies to cola drinks and excessive consumption of candy or other indulgence foods. These causes must be eliminated!
In children neurodermitis and psoriasis often disappear after two or three months if the children are bathed for one or two hours, preferably daily, in a small tub containing the alkaline mineral bath salts MeineBase (AlkaBath).
Unfortunately many people do not have a bath tub. In this case they must use the various other alkaline applications. These are foot baths, AlkalineStockings and Sleeves, an alkaline steam bath and alkaline inhalations, alkaline salt and honey massages, alkaline wraps etc.
In parallel to these detoxification and deacidification measures, the diet should be switched to being mainly vegetarian with a high proportion of vegetables eaten raw, and fruit in moderation.
