MorgenStund', the quintessential breakfast

We devised the recipe for this millet- and buckwheat-based porridge with apple and pineapple, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds and amaranth so that we could offer a breakfast which would be equally well tolerated and healthy for everyone: alkaline-generating and rich in fiber, easy to digest because it is free from gluten, and also low in cholesterol and purines and free from additives.

MorgenStund' – Only nature’s best!

Millet has a high silicium content and is important for maintaining and/or regenerating beautiful skin, hair and nails and is therefore the ideal "beautifier". In addition to this, millet is a valuable vegetable source of iron.

Amaranth, the "super grain" is used by many athletes to increase their performance and to increase physical endurance. The protein contained in amaranth is particularly high-quality and is an important prerequisite for e.g. firm cells and strong structures. Amaranth is an important source of calcium.

Sweet almonds have already been called a "bundle of nutrition" by Hildegard von Bingen. Their consumption can help to lower the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

Sunflower seeds are important sources of vitamin E. They strengthen the heart and circulation, they help to build strong bones and aid the prevention of gum bleeding and periodontitis.

Buckwheat has a positive effect on the blood vessels and is successfully used in the treatment of varicose veins. As it contains high-quality protein it is nutritious for the brain and nervous system and can be used to improve the ability to learn and concentrate. Buckwheat is also an important source of silicon for hair and skin, for bones and cartilage.

Pineapple is very rich in enzymes which aid digestion. The fruit is very helpful for taut skin and firm connective tissue and protects against premature wrinkles.

Apples contain a wide variety of vital substances. As they contain a large amount of dietary fibre they help to lower cholesterol and help to protect against colon cancer. Apples stimulate the digestion and help to protect against cardiovascular disease.

Pumpkin seeds have diuretic properties and are antispasmodic. They strengthen the bladder muscles and have a positive effect on the health of the prostate. In addition to this, pumpkin seeds strengthen the body’s defences. They can help to lower blood pressure and are also used in the case of disorders of the skin and mucous membrane.
