If sport is done properly, then it will be great fun and keep you fit and healthy. However, at the same time you should know something about your own metabolism and in particular about the acid-alkaline balance and bear this in mind!
Dr. h. c. Peter Jentschura and his son Roland Jentschura have drawn up three main principles, which have already been highly beneficial to top athletes, for example from the Austrian ski team and from world famous cycling teams. These three rules are as follows:
These worthwhile recommendations are just as relevant to those who enjoy sport simply for pleasure, as those who are top athletes. The more sport you do, the more important this advice becomes.
Movement of the body and muscles supports gut motility and quite specifically also the blood flow. When there is too little movement, blood flows too slowly and is not able to transport enough oxygen and nutrients to the cells and this in turn means that not enough carbonic acid can be transported away from the cells. The body then quickly becomes acidified with carbonic acid.
When carrying out excessive and perhaps in some case unaccustomed exercise, lactic acid, acetic acid and uric acid are produced. Our body is not capable of metabolizing this surge of acid. The results are noticeable in the form of a burning sensation, pain, aching muscles, amongst other things. Excessive exercise as well as inadequate exercise can both lead to over- acidity.
Nutrition is of particular importance to professional athletes. Unfortunately, today’s nutritional and lifestyle habits are mainly composed of acid-forming foods and activities, with excessive consumption of meat, convenience foods, sugar, soft drinks and cooking salt. There are also the harmful effects of nicotine, alcohol and environmental pollutants. As a result of these acids and toxins, and the acids created through intensive sport, many athletes reach the state of over-acidity too early and therefore the limit of their performance.
This limit can be successfully exceeded with preventative mineralisation, alkaline purification and continuous regeneration, with regard to both health and an increase in performance.
Nutrition should consist of 80 % alkaline-generating food and 20 % acid-forming food. Alkaline-generating foods include vegetables, potatoes, fruit, seeds, shoots, nuts, herbal teas, WurzelKraft (AlkaLife) aromatic or fruity, MorgenStund’, vegetable juices, etc. Acid-forming foods include meat, coffee, alcohol, milk and dairy products, confectionery, products made from wheat flour, etc.
It is important to exercise regularly. The more frequently you exercise, the lower the level of accumulated acid. On the one hand, the improved circulation provides the body with more oxygen for producing energy. Less acid is produced in a muscle which has been exercised because energy production has been in training. On the other hand, the elimination of acids is improved as a result of improved circulation and the body which has subject to frequent exercise. AlkalineStockings should be worn during exercise. These eliminate the acids which are formed during exercise directly out of the body. AlkalineStockings have already demonstrated their beneficial effects in marathon runs.
After sport, long baths should be taken in the alkaline bath salt MeineBase (AlkaBath). AlkalineStockings can also be worn overnight. These consist of 2 pairs. The inner pair made from cotton should be soaked in a solution made up of 1 litre of water and 1 teaspoon of MeineBase (AlkaBath) and then tightly wrung out. The damp stockings are then put on and a dry pair made from pure virgin wool is worn over these. During the night the stockings will remove the acids which have occurred during exercise from the body. The AlkalineCuffs can also be worn during exercise. These have already demonstrated their beneficial effects in marathon runs.
In addition to carrying out a consistent routine of alkaline purification, the best form of prevention is to ensure that the body receives a rich supply of omnimolecular vital substances, as provided for example by the product WurzelKraft (AlkaLife).
